6. There will be four cars going down the hill at a time. Drivers must stay in their assigned lane. Penalties may be assessed by the judges for lane changing infractions.

7. There will be four regular heats by each driver based on driver’s weight. The driver's lanes will be rotated from heat to heat so that all drivers run in all lanes.

8. The fifth and final heat will be run based on slowest to the fastest, calculated on the average of each driver’s three fastest times from the four regular heats.

9. At the end of each heat, continue past the finish line until your cart stops, push cart to the end of the street, then help load cart onto a trailer for transporting back to the start line.

10. Drivers should walk back up the hill. Parents, Pit Crew and Driver should be at the top of the hill to help unload their cart on arrival of the trailer.

11. If your cart requires repairs and/or replacement parts, take your cart to the Pit Stop located at the top of the hill. Wheels will be available for sale at the Pit Stop, or from any Knights of Columbus member before or during the race. It is a good idea to purchase wheels in advance with your entry form.

12. IF YOU GO OUT OF CONTROL ON THE HILL, please try to complete the race by pushing, pulling or dragging the cart over the finish line.

DRIVERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RETURNING THEIR CARTS BACK TO THEIR SPONSORS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE AFTER THE RACE.
